More than $133,000 is from the Maryland State Arts Council,$12,000 from Talbot County, $3,000 from the Town of Easton, and $1,000 each from the Towns of Oxford and St. Michaels. The remainder is from four local foundations for Arts-in-Education programs: Artistic Insights Fund of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, Carpe Diem Arts, Dock Street Foundation, and Ruth and Robert St. John Foundation.

Where does it go?

Almost $127,000 in grant funds go to community arts organizing and arts programs, including an expected $40,000 for arts education in the schools and summer arts scholarships. The balance is for operations, advocacy, and arts promotion.
